GP Enhanced Access

GP Enhanced Access (GPEA)

We are increasing our capacity & access by working together within our PCN to introduce GP Enhanced Access.
 
From 1st October 2022, this means you can now pre-book appointments with a GP or Nurse in the evenings, weekends & Bank Holidays, at a time that may suit you better.
 
Enhanced Access is an extension of #TeamWMC & #ParkWooDPCN. It is not a walk-in-service & appointments are bookable through Reception.
 
Depending on your clinical need you will be offered a face to face, telephone or video or consultation.
 
The service is located on the ground floor of Highfield Clinical Care Centre, Cliftonville Rd., Northampton NN1 5BD - ENTRANCE B.
 
 
 

Enhanced Access

LIVI

As part of our GP Enhanced Access, patients at Wootton Medical Centre have access to LIVI, an online GP service (at no cost).
 
This online GP services brings healthcare to your home or a place that suits you, by giving you easy access to video appointments via your smartphone or tablet.
 
The online GP experience works just the same as a normal face-to-face appointment – although some things may require a physical examination.
 
As well as giving expert medical advice during an appointment, our online GPs can arrange any necessary prescriptions, specialist referrals or fit notes at the same time. This can all be done through the app to make your life that little bit easier.
