Are you a young carer?
A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. Being an unpaid carer can have an effect on your own health and well-being and can also lead to social isolation.
Let us know that you are a carer so we can support you.
You can also find out more by emailing or telephone the surgery and asking to speak to our Carer's Champion Jill Gore, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting www.northamptonshire-carers.org
The Lowdown currently provides free counselling, sexual health and LGBTQ services for 11-25 year olds, living within NN1-NN7 area.
A new well-being service was launched over the summer, which provides a drop-in service as well as activity-based workshops for young people. Our drop-in offers one-off confidential emotional support sessions in which their Navigators will offer a listening ear, self-help resources or signposting to in-house or external services.
