You Spoke; We Listened: Improving Access at Wootton Medical Centre
GP Patient Survey 2026 – Thank You for Your Feedback
Thank you to everyone who completed the 2026 GP Patient Survey. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve.
We are pleased that many patients reported positive experiences with our clinical team, particularly in relation to confidence and trust in healthcare professionals, involvement in decisions about their care, and understanding the next steps following contact with the practice.
The survey also highlighted areas where we can do better, particularly around the ease of contacting the practice by telephone and through our website. We recognise that timely access to healthcare is important to our patients and are committed to improving the experience of contacting us.
In response to your feedback, we are launching our “Access Made Easier” campaign. Over the coming months, we will be promoting simpler ways to contact the practice, enhancing the information available on our website, and increasing awareness of services that can be accessed through the NHS App.
We will continue to keep patients informed about the improvements we are making and how your feedback is helping to shape the future of our services.
What We Are Doing
Over the coming months, we will be launching our “Access Made Easier” campaign, which will focus on:
✅ Making it easier for patients to understand the different ways they can contact the practice.
✅ Promoting services available through the NHS App and online consultation systems.
✅ Reviewing our website to improve navigation and make information easier to find.
✅ Providing clearer information about response times and what happens after a patient contacts us.
✅ Working with our Patient Participation Group (PPG) to gather ideas and feedback on future improvements.
Helping Us Improve
Many requests can now be managed online, helping patients receive support without having to wait on the telephone. Throughout the year we will be sharing tips, guidance and updates to help patients make the most of the services available, including the NHS App, online prescriptions and appointment management tools.
We will also continue to listen to your feedback and keep you informed through our “You Said, We Did” updates, showing how patient comments are helping shape improvements at the practice.
Thank You
We would like to thank our patients for their continued support and feedback. We are committed to delivering safe, effective and responsive care and will continue working to improve access and communication while maintaining the high standards of clinical care that patients value.
Together, we can make accessing healthcare at Wootton Medical Centre easier for everyone.
